Sam Burns played this song at DC's 18th street lounge on the Sunday following the crossing over of his mother. He let this song go for a long time and I started to think about all those who inspire me. John Johnson was present to witness this and he suggested we add the JJ-Tettris cologne to the instrumental version. This version of the song does a great job of speaking for itself. As such I thought a strong melody would suffice in the beginning. As the song progressed though I felt that the proper melodic garnishment would only serve to enhance the listener's experience. When we introduced the live performance to the crowd at the 18th Street Lounge, they went wild.
